I'm Tori (Victoria), I guess the hardest but best place to start is that I'm a transwoman. It is usually the last thing I would want anyone to notice about me, but I live a life in absolute honesty and felt it super important just to be clear. Enter cheesy lines about it not defining me etc etc, but it doesn't.... I let me define me.
I'm a writer, a fierce lover, a loyal friend, a charity “do gooder”, an activist, an artist, free from societal constraints and surprisingly modest after writing that! Ha.
Someone once told me (far to kind) that I was a bright soul in an often cloudy sky, which I’ll take for now and is a wonderful compliment.
I most often speak from my soul and heart. I guess I’m just naturally deep and often look at the world differently than others. I can see the beauty in the world even when it's dark (or at its darkest). As only in the darkness you can see the stars :)
I recently found out that I was 35% left brained (logical) and 65% right brained (creative), and my ideal job would be a musician. Makes sense as was a professional one for a very long time, but I put my creativity into all sorts and work in media now and do lots and lots more, especially for LGBT charities.
Having spent the last year and half doing loads for charity, activism and working hard, it feels like time to find new experiences and friends and hold much hope for this new endeavor. Maybe one day I'll find that soul match, but I'm in no rush, as after all life is just as much about discovery as anything else... and maybe if I meet the right one it might just be time to sweep her of her feet :)
