When I met my partner in 2000, she knew I was transgender, so did my family I came out to them in 1998, so when we married my mother thought I was cured!
Eight years later I could not play androgynous role anymore, I was fed up being mis gendered so I started my medical transition (MTF) with full support of my amazing partner - sadly she is not, a lesbian, my physical body changed not her sexuality!
Last year after seven years of tears, fears, highs, lows including speech therapy, hormones, I underwent my gender reassignment surgery and now my body aligns with my spirit!
I am blessed to have an amazing group of friends who get me and have supported me now I want to have fun and find the rest of my L Word Family...
