When i was a young squaddie in Germany it was my turn to do the choggie run (off to the shop with a list to get stuff for the lads like chocolate, ciggies, beer etc).
My boss gave me twenty deutschmarks and said "get me some 20 bensons and if they dont have them get me anything"
