5 Top Pulling Tips on a Night Out

Getting lucky at a party can be tricky, but it's not impossible. The pressure of what to wear, how to act, sometimes it all gets the better of you. A few drinks turn into too many and your too drunk to decide what greasy takeout you want on your way home, let alone who you want to go home with.

So if you're looking to hook up successfully, then there are some things you should know and remember and then repeat to yourself at least once in the taxi on the way out.

    DON’T Get Too Drunk.

Be your best self at a party or any location where you're trying to pull. Your best self is probably the only chance you will get to make sure that fittie is all yours for the night. The other-self that drinks too much and acts a fool goes home with a dirty takeaway rather than for a dirty night under the sheets. Don't be that self.

    DO Show Your Interest Early.

If you think someone is fit, then you should let them know. Buy them a drink, have a flirt, make them laugh, definitely don't be coy or too cool or play hard to get. That's irritating, show your interest, be engaging, and then be at the party like a regular human.

    DON’T Be Dishonest.

If you simply want to hook up and potentially have sex, then don't say words from your mouth to indicate that you're looking for more than that. No need to plan how many kids you're having and their names, or where you want to get married. Those are lies and can be very misleading and off-putting. Be honest, upfront, not gross, and see what happens.

DON’T Make It Your Only Objective.

Nobody likes that person who's clearly just there trying to get laid. Who's the person at the party always guaranteed to go home alone? Yeah, it's that person. So enjoy yourself. Dance when a song comes on. Talk to people. Have a laugh. And then if you find someone who you like who appears to like you, then crack on.

    DO Read The Signs.

If they're clearly not feeling it, then let it go. Trying harder isn't going to bring you success; it's just going to come off creepy and oblivious. If they seem more concerned to find their friends or giving you very minimal small talk back, chances are they aren't interested. So if you're getting the signals that they're not down to flirt or get to know a stranger then leave it alone. Say it was nice to meet you, and go talk to someone else.
