I love dark sci-fi, especially the ones that provoke thinking and reflection about what we consider as universally correct and moral. I fully agree that the best sci-fi is a carefully derived fantasy on society, rather than mere tech.
What makes me happy? To be honest, I'm not depressed and my gender dysphoria comes and goes, but others calling me 'sheher' gives me euphoria above all daily joy, and men making naughtyeven sexist comments about me drives my mind thru roof. I guess it's some form of over-compensation for not being able to be a cis-women
